Everything Leans

"Deep is this dependent origination, and deep its appearance."

"Whoever sees dependent origination sees the Dharma;
whoever sees the Dharma sees dependent origination."

- Buddha [MN:28, DN:15]

We are offering an online drop-in group for those working with Rob Burbea’s approaches to Samadhi and Insight meditation. The purpose of the group is to provide connection, support, and guidance for those practicing with the book Seeing That Frees: Meditations on Emptiness and Dependent Arising or Rob Burbea’s related talks and teachings.

The sessions will follow a question and answer format: discussing what’s coming up for people in their practice with this material, as well as exploring topics from Rob’s book and related teachings.

Meetings will be facilitated by members of Rob Burbea’s teacher-training group: Juha Penttila, Nathan Glyde, Susy Keely, Sari Markkanen, and Yahel Avigur.

The group will meet via the Zoom video-conference platform on Thursdays from 18.00 - 19.15 UK time.
For your information here is the current time in the UK - see what 18.00 UK time is where you are.

The next sessions will be:
  • September 17
  • October 1
  • October 15
  • October 29

If you're interested join the Zoom Meeting. There is no need to register or commit to more than one meeting. We look forward to seeing you there.

This program is offered without a price of admission. In the tradition of Dharma teachings participants are invited to support the sessions with dana: freely given donations. Traditionally those who share teachings are dependent on the generosity of those who receive them: a conscious exchange rooted in inclusivity and openness that allows these priceless teachings to be available to all. With dana we cultivate a spirit of caring rooted in interconnectedness, and a liberating opening into the fullness of life. Generosity is a practice that nourishes the heart and supports the deepening of samadhi.

We will rotate the collection of dana (donations) between the members of the teacher-training group. This week Yahel is collecting the donations for all of us. They will be shared among us later.
